Terence Fedors

Vice President for Design and Engineering, General Dynamics Electric Boat


Terry Fedors is the Vice President for Design and Engineering, at General Dynamics Electric Boat, Groton, CT. Terry has responsibility for all engineering and design at Electric Boat. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Fedors was Program Director for the S6G Moored Training Ship (MTS) Program at EB. This included the program management of all MTS design and development and EB construction efforts at both Electric Boat and Norfolk Naval Ship Yard. Previous to this, Fedors was the Manager of Human Resources, with responsibility for EB’s HR policies and procedures, compensation and performance management for all salaried personnel, and the Manager of Design and Engineering overseeing development of structures for Virginia Class, SSGN conversion and Seawolf SSN23 Port Payload programs. Fedors earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and began his career at Electric Boat in 1986 as an engineer working on the Seawolf Class Program.

Mr. Fedors is a strong advocate for the newly formed National Institute for Undersea Vehicle Technology headquartered at the UCONN Avery Point campus as well becoming a member of the Board of Advisors in 2018 for the UCONN School of Engineering.
