Graduate Handbook

New: For M.S. and Ph.D. students starting their graduate studies in the Fall of 2024, or M.S. and Ph.D. students enrolled before Fall 2024 that have requested and been approved a catalog change.

Old: For M.S. and Ph.D. students who started their graduate studies before Fall of 2024 and who have not requested a catalog change.

Catalog Change: students under the old catalog who wish to switch to the new catalog must send an email to Degree Audit at degreeaudit@uconn.edu making the request; please copy the school at engr-me-dgs@uconn.edu when making the request. It is recommended that Ph.D. students planning to take their General (Qualifying) Examination at the beginning of the Fall 2024 semester take the examination before requesting the catalog change.
